  • Through this exercise, students, learn the following:

  • Causes for the seasons to occur
    The earth in context of the solar system
  • Understanding science through a memorable song

1. Ice Breaker Exercise

The teacher first asks the children to identify the  four main seasons. Each season is assigned with some actions. Spring-clap, summer- snap, autumn-tap, winter- jump. When the season is mentioned children will do the action related to it.

2. The song (to be played)

  • Hey wait I’ll make you laugh
  • If you know the answer to 23½
  • It’s a magic number if you can tell me why?
  • It’s the angle of the earth tilting on axis slight

  • I’ll give you a merry task

3. Once the song is played and the game is done, teach the song to the children and make them sing it.

The teacher first asks the  children to rub their hands and then after telling 123 the children are supposed to clap
